              WARNING TO SKIERS

Skiers and ski lift passengers are governed by the New York State Safety in Ski Code, Article 18 of the New York State General Obligations Law. Before affixing pass or allowing any pass to be affixed to your person, your attention is directed to posted "Warning to Skiers" that is displayed where your pass is purchased. The Safety in Skiing Code requires you seek out, read, and understand the "Warning to Skiers" before you decide to participate in the sport of skiing.

Skiing, like many sports, contains inherent risks including, but not limited to the risk of personal injury, including injury, or death, or property damage. Therefore Woods Valley Ski Area takes appropriate measures to protect skiers from undue, unnecessary and unreasonable hazards, including those created by skier conduct, excesses and attitudes. Skiers who create such hazards for themselves, to other skiers, can be arrested under Article 18 of the New York State General Obligations Law and may be required to leave the area and denied skiing privileges at Woods Valley.
